What type of programs are out there to personally make models from intraoral scans? I know of 3Shape and Exocad but I was wondering if there was any others or 3rd party software out there. Thanks.

you can try powershape



never done it myself but in principle it should work.

theres also the traditional free tools like freecad and meshlab. again havent tried it but i'm sure with some noodling you could produce something. 3shape makes the modeling easy so i have no desire to try a harder method.

I know 3Shape has it but I am looking for a little bit cheaper way. The 3rd party scan module cost $5800. Exocad is much cheaper I just haven't used it yet. Trying to get a "trial" to try it out.
