Where do you get the crappy plastic faux implant parts for those clear models that exhibit the type of case you are making?
i have some Viade models here. they are superb and really can show off some goodies.I think you were asking about the fixture replicas, you are right the majority of those are not real implants but I have no idea where to get those. This place has some good quality stuff, they might be able to guide you.

I've used these guys in the past. May be a new owner now though but I was happy with the models then. http://www.paradigmmodels.com/ I've also used the viade models. Was happy with them as well. Either way you can't go wrong.
Why not waxup a 'denture' with solid base, buy a few implants off ebay for cheap and process in clear acrylic?

That is what I am thinking.I would buy the models. They use different resins that look great for a long time. However I would make the prosthetics for the models. That's what you're selling.
