Immediate Provisionals

One of my accounts called me today and asked if we did immediate provisionals. We have done a few, but they aren't very immediate because the doctor has to take and impression, send it to me, then I need to fabricate the provisional on a temp abutment. This doctor would like to go straight to a custom abutment for the provisional(which I think is a good idea). For me to do a custom abutment and a provisional would take about 5 in lab days. I know these are ways of doing this at the time of surgery using Simplant or other software. We don't have access to that presently. Do any of you have any tricks to get these done faster?

Does the doc have an IOS? We turn these around in about 3 hours (using a Ti base),but that's off of a Trios scan...

I will ask, but I assume not. IOS are still fairly rare in central Indiana.

If this is an anterior, run away!
More reasons than 1 . . . but trying to save money and time is not a good reason
for long term success.
