Dye for Clearsplint?

We want to dye our Clearsplints. Astron said food coloring would work but does not have more information on the technique. We tried a powder but it left specks, not sure if it was our mixing technique (hand mixed) or if we should try a liquid dye.

Has anyone dyed Clearsplint?

1) what dye did you use?
2) where can it be purchased?
3) how did you mix it?
4) what quantity of dye was needed?

I think in ortho you can add liquid food coloring to monomer.

I always bought monomer dye from Great Lakes Ortho. Many different colors and I could make it as light or intense as I wanted.

Oooppps! I guess I should stop dumping in the IVOPond. Or, should I add a little more blue and see if I can make her Ivoclar Green?!?!

Just don't make him exocad purple

You can't use PMMA ortho dye with butelmethylmethrate and food dye don't work or fade.

I don't use glitter, glitter must be sealed or flakes out.na Mylar bonds and is sparkles.

Yes the smooth on silicone dyes are same a prosthetic limb dyes.
