Takes me 1.5hrs to mill a bite-splint.

If I needed to mill a model and die, probably over 2hrs or more!

Kinda expensive! We are talking about a $75 model++....just for One arch! Yikers!

Yes , it takes a long time to mill a model... complex geometry... so it makes it an expensive proposition. OK for a one off but not for normal production.
Resin reinforced Gypsum disks work ok, I have not used polyurethane but seen it.

I have used this brand and its ok. 98 mm disks in 3 thickness.

Wieland has a disk for milling models...is fun to play with but it didn't make any sense to put in production...no one would pay for such an expensive product...just talking about machine time ( that's $ too)...took 5.5 hours to cut an arch...
