Digital models crown occlusion is off, poured stone model occlusion is fine

Crowns made on our poured models have fine occlusion our client tells us, but the crowns made from a digital model like the one below have premature occlusion on the crown. Any ideas what some of the reasons could be?

Was this from a Trios 3?

It may not be the models or anything you have done.

ah, the old 3 point articulator. 3shape early versions of those forced models to be held open not shut prematurely. kind of the opposite problem.

I stopped using the 3 point as well for the same reason.
The 3 shape quad @-40 microns works perfectly for me.

i fixed it and can distribute the fix to you if you want.

I need to fix a client that is blaming me for his inaccurate scans.

I suspect something is up with Trios 3 calibration .

No, I think what you describe would cause the occlusion to be high as our client is reporting.
