So it’s been 2 months since “ prints hairy” arrived and so far so good. A few misprints that looks like a bird’s nest but I think this is all I need . View attachment 41445 View attachment 41446 View attachment 41447

Bed leveling, build plate temperature. Also check if they have some form of adhesive for the build plate. But that looks like bed level problem.

Actually I went through that as well as selecting the wrong temp settings. However it turns out that the stl shows the implant tip sticking out the bottom of the base by a few millimeters .When dropping the files , the tip contacted the plate and not the base. This is what printing in thin air looks like.

Sorry but those prints look terrible.
But if it fits in the mouth than that's all that matters.

I wouldnt trust adding a contact to those models.

Not because of the design.
Adding a drop of glaze because the temp moved the teeth is not a big deal.
Nobody cares about the model if the crown drops in.

Plenty of times I've walked into a operatory to check a shade of a crown, or a concern of some sort, and have only seen the crown and bridge box on their tray while the model was still in the box. It's like the model at times is the last thing they check or look at.

I believe they have a normal pla and I think a nylon with carbon fiber.
