Hello all , this is a fun case we did . First one of this kind for us . Pekkton frame , single CubeX2 crowns , 6 anterior labial layered , posterior full contour , and composite gingiva . Lots to improve , but it is a good start I think . Ceramics and gingiva were made by my dad , I have a fractured wrist that ddin't allow me to work on this case , all I did was to design the frame and take the pics .

Very nice case and I love the individual look...
How many hours of labor would you say you have compared to the other way.....
Drizzt, like to hear your thoughts about designing a case like this ?

Did you charge extra in the designing so the patient could floss lol :)

design question-
Aren't you concerned about micro leakage between the crowns and the pink?

That's what I'm wondering. How well can they clean in there?

Fantastic job!

The biggest issue with these in my mind is how easy it is to retrieve them once cemented. I love the idea of PEEK and when its all cleared to be used here in the states I am sure I will use it.

What is the thought process if the case needs to come out

will the composite cement be placed circumferentially around the composite tissue/ tooth ceramic interface?

Great work! Can you tell us if the frame was milled or pressed?

bredent make a press for their peek its quite cool. im still not convinced about the resin gingiva looks ok now but in 2years not so sure i also think it will stain around the gingival margins with the flex in the peek it will pull away for the zirk crowns. drizzt great hands!

Only time will tell, but my guess is it will stain over time, I think the frame is touted as having flexure as a feature, so I don't see how the bond is supposed to survive both thermocycling and flexing...
But I could be wrong

At the risk of being an ass, these designs just seem like a lot of billable work for a ceramist, with many other issues left enumerated, but unanswered by early adapters.
Designs like this definitely represent the "Rolls Royce" approach, but I wonder how, in the reality that is a prosthesis, these will stand the test of time.
Resin over titanium has many flaws, but fixing and/ or rebuilding them in a jiffy ain't one of them.
