Hard dentures hurt.... That includes partials....
Some patients aren't addicts but just regular folks who have extreme pain wearing the hard materials....
I challenge each of you to design a soft full denture that beats all the odds and challenges that you fear and to come out of the dark ages of "fake teeth"....
Oh, second part of challenge...they must be affordable and must be FDA approved....

I was waiting for the message to blow-up in 10 seconds like on 007. Yeah, like that goofy Canadian said...we challenge you to learn what Titanium is first. You want soft, get a soft-liner.

Valplast satisfies all the requirements.

only one problem with it; if it ever rips or tears or a tooth falls off, the whole thing needs to be remade. there are no quick and easy fixes for it.

its also pretty squishy. eating with it is not what you'd call easy. for missing 1 or 2 anteriors valplast is an aesthetically pleasing solution. for bruxers too. but not for people who eat pistachios, or who chew bubblegum.

strength is not a downfall of dentures, it is a feature that gives the patient quality of life.

the only people i'd give a valplast to are vegans who don't cook their food. that diet suggests they won't require strength and may have less need of long term solutions.

The second reply is far from the Dark Ages.
Get some implants and quit whining.

if comfort is what you desire you can always request a soft liner added to your denture.

Valplast can be rebased, relined, added to and repaired. I been doing it for years.

Its a nice short term answer to a removable appliance. Patients destroy them with a tooth brush no matter that they are told to use the cleaner provided and no brush.

The choice of treatment modalities is made by a licensed dentist not a dental tech. Go to a dentist site and ask them....they will be happy to talk with you.

steph are you really 77....you are holding up well.
