Dental Laboratory Manufacturers/ Suppliers Step Up and Sponsor ​

“Race for the Future” on June 29 in Chicago to benefit Foundation​

Tallahassee, FL – The Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology is pleased to announce a fundraiser in conjunction with an ITU Triathlon in Chicago, Illinois being held June 29, 2014.

A variety of organizations have stepped up to support this inaugural event. Key sponsors include BEGO, Inside Dental Technology, Identalloy, Nowak Dental Supply and Whip Mix Corporation.

The goal is to raise $20,000.00 for the Foundation. All of the proceeds will go towards either grants to educational programs to invest in new technology or technician scholarships to assist with achieving the CDT designation. “This is an exciting and creative way for the industry to come together to support the Foundation. Linking personal health and wellness to a Foundation fundraiser is a natural fit, given the Foundation’s focus on “making the profession the best it can be”, says Leon Hermanides, CDT, Foundation Chair.

People interested in racing in the event must register directly at the race website- http://chicago.triathlon.org/ There are different options for racers of all skill levels including a sprint and an option for a 3 person relay team, for swim, bike and run.

To support the Foundation or a participant donate instantly on-line- visit www.dentallabfoundation.org and choose “donate instantly online” then select “Race for the Future”. There you can write in an athlete you wish to support or give a general “Race for the Future” contribution by leaving the “athlete name” section blank.
