need help identifying implant

Patient is an elderly woman (late 80's) and doesn't remember when this was placed. She claims it had a crown on it at one time, however with the ball type config I'm wondering if it wasn't a removable? Thanks

It's supposed to be an o-ball/gasket type of denture attachment, some have been known to put crowns and even bridges. The squareness is tue onpy antirotation and they just cement on.

Really well past sub-optimal.

Lo interesante del caso es que fue cargado con una corona individual, según el reporte de la paciente, y está perfectamente óseo-integrado. la pregunta es que debió ser un sistema de poco peso o con protección oclúsal para no afectar el implante. Además es una paciente adulta... para analizar.

Explica tu nunca neccititan un abutment, solimente un crown? es mal, pero no es mal que ahora.
