Hi Toto,
Just out of curiosity..
What kind of machine are you looking for ? 4 axis..5 axis ?
Stepper or Servo ?
What would you like to cut with it...Wax and PMMA only ? Zirconia too ? What about Chrome or Titanium ?
Is a dry system ok or would you need it to be wet ?
Tell me a little more about your needs.....when you decide what you want to do.. then tell
me what price you would be willing to pay for it....
Let's talk about it...
Let's hear what the community has to say on the subject
What capabilities would you like to see included that you don't see anyone offering now
Your post implies that you feel that the price of a new machine is just too high...
what price would you consider to be fair....
What are we all looking for...... and why ?
Thanks,
- Mike
Mike he is asking about the air driven or electrical manual milling machine, the ones where you setup the arch on a table so when you start milling the abutments you waxed up or stock abutments they are all parallel to each other allowing a perfect draw. Basically the old school milling machine pre cerec and nobel scanners.
I found this site, they look ok not sure though.
Crown & Bridge We have one that is 40yrs old, I can find out the manufacturer and see if they still make them or used ones on the net some where.
one more on amazon
Amazon.com: DENTAL MILLING MACHINE MX-7 AIR: Health & Personal Care Actually that was made by the people in the first link.
The one we have is air driven, with a regulator to control speed, uses HP burs, the thing rips!!!
