This is a great machine! It would use a Blue material intended for lost-wax. Exact same as a Dental Printer. Same software, same resolution.

What year and serial number? Built in Grand Junction CO, or CA?

This is worth Ten Solidscape printers!

Yes this machine has worked well for us, very fast and high resolution waxes, but we have have our solidscape machines and two mills so we no longer need this machine.

That's a lot for that machine. What about print head warranty?

Go buy a Xerox Phaser printhead off ebay. Same thing.
I'd fix it for $400 flat for a chit printhead. Just because one or even ten jets are out, I'd still run it. Just avoid that line on printplate.

The printheads last up to forever. I doubt it needs one.

Yeah that machine is worth $23k. That's about it in todays market.

Wait wait wait..so your saying that printhead from that Xerox will swap in??? How does it need to be modified?? Will this work for HR's and DP's???? PM me more info on this..very interested.

I was in Hollywood playing with a few printers that make-up artist MXCBXX XXXXXX had. (He did Star Trek stuff, Borg, Klingon). He had a pile of old Phazer parts that would work in the 3dsystems printers. That's all I should say I guess?

I bought this ROM card on ebay. It is the key to HD or SD and matches your printhead and resolution of printer. There is a way to convert SD to HD for a few hundred bucks. (So I heard)

Do you have any more secrets about the printhead? I want to pick up this older invision hr but I'm told it has a bad printhead and they want something like 15 grand to fix it..might be worth it if I can rebuild something myself.

The clogged jets in bad printhead can probably be recovered.

I'll buy the broken printer right now and fix it if you don't.

Tell me where it is if you're not going to buy it.

WHo cares about one or two missing jets?

Just avoid that tiny line on the build plate.

I'd fix the printhead for 1/10th that price!

Please let me know, how much material use, before invision HR start the job?
I mean for cleaning the printheads.....
I want to buy this machine but some of my friends said,the machine uses 1 tube of build and 1 tube of support for cleaning printhead is this true?

No. That's funny though.

I can help you save on costs and actually make money with this printer.

It really can make money, don't worry about a little extra squirt of material.

I have my printer turned down on that cycle to save material on every print.

I can't let my printer go into conserve mode, or I would need to manually do all that extra squirting.....so.....it stays on stand-by mode for over 36hrs. (I set it like that in machine parameters)

FIXED! No more wasting bogus material.

Hey ***. I have the fifth Invision HR built in Grand Junction. Have been running it for 7yrs. Would like to know where and how to change the settings to save material as you mentioned in your last post. Also is there a way to change the width of the verification strip to conserve material as well?

I just installed a ProJet in TN last week.....they are printing without verification strip also! My trick works on ProJets.

I don't have an Invision HR to play with any longer. I sold mine years ago. I'm sure I could figure out a way to do it. Maybe the same trick works, or I could turn your Invision into a ProJet. (Or at least the computer thinks it is a ProJet.)
