I am looking for a more cost effective alternative to Impregum F.
Here in Canada the stuff is more expensive than a good wig.
Does anyone have any suggestions about another brand of Polyether impression material?
I am not a big fan of polyvinyl materials like aquasil, etc...
and the patients hate the taste of old school materials like rubber base, and zinc eugenol stuff.
Anyone?

I'm not sure of it's viscosity.I have only received impressions . It is supposed to be an alginate replacement, premixed and dispensed by machine.

It seems to be a low end pvs. It may work for relines similar to a light body.

Sort of inbetween a HB and MB PVS. It should work nicely if you work quickly cause it sets fast, 2-2.5 min. Use some imp adhesive,,,,,,, sparingly; to keep from lifting, much easier to remove than softliner etc
I would be concerned abot tissue displacement due to its viscosity; might lead it fitting problems if too much is used. VDO and PPL area.

Works great for preops on cosmetic cases when docs doesnt want to use PVS and alginate lacks details.

Good idea dropping the Impregum. Stuff is expensive! Any cheap VPS would serve you well. Aquasil and examix are good, affinity is meh... most of the big distributors have a house brand that works, if ur alginot going to use alginate.... Anyone use affinis?
