I have been using the wire wheel on a bench lathe for years to divest my pressings. I recently modified a sandblast cabinet so that a bench lathe could be installed. The result is a completely contained divesting station. it works great!

Nice idea on the self contained cabinet, those have been my thoughts for model work but why not just mark the ring where the plunger ends and snap off that end saving all that dust creation ?
