What is the camera used for? Can it be put on a scope? what is the output?

This is the primary vision camera from a LAVA ST 3d scanner. Its a very high end camera. We bought it new to replace a failing camera in the scanner. It was over $1K. We retired the scanner shortly after installing it. It has very low usage.

To answer your question:
1. The output is Firerwire. If you plug it into your pc it will display an image.
2. I'm sure it would be mounted to a scope. That would actually be a good use for it. However, you would need to figure out a mounting solution yourself.
