Mabel Dental Lab is currently seeking an experienced dental technician to be the Lab Manager in our lab located in Akron, Ohio.
No entry-level candidates please. All candidates must have employment experience fabricating dentures from start to finish.
Qualified candidates must be capable of all aspects of denture fabrication, including, but not limited to, setting teeth, denture wax-up, including festooning and carving of teeth, rough and fine finishing and repairs, pouring and trimming denture models. Experience with an Injection System (Ivocap/Success) is preferred.
The duties of the Dental Laboratory Manager include, but are not limited to:
• Supervises and coordinates activities of the fabrication, assembly, and repair of
full or partial dentures: Reads prescription and consults with dentist to resolve problems
concerning prescription specifications.
• Trains new workers in performance of tasks as well as also fabricates and repairs dentures
• Inspects work in progress and upon completion to ensure conformance to prescription
specifications.
Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, proven leadership ability, positive attitude, and
excellent communication skills. A pleasant attitude with a desire for accuracy that exhibit a professional & capable demeanor.
