In dental milling, a working collet is vital to trouble free dental milling. A collet is a tiny cylinder shaped piece of steel that holds the milling tool in the spindle during operation. It opens and closes to allow for tool changes during milling.
In order to keep your Versamill running smoothly, it is very important to maintain your collet by consistently cleaning or replacing it. If it is dirty and old, machine fuction will not operate like it should.
