I tried to find a ready-made module with Vertex Articulator Cup here, but I could only find the .stl file. Unfortunately I failed to configure config.xml so that it could be correctly positioned on the model and rotated in the right direction.
If someone has a ready-made library, I would be very grateful.

Can you turn the model so it matches the correct direction of the vertex?

Nope. It allow me to rotate only in one direction even if i edit config.xml
Code:
<RotationRestriction>
<DirectionType>GlobalDirection</DirectionType>
<Direction>
<x>1</x>
<y>0</y>
<z>1</z>
</Direction>
</RotationRestriction>
I believe this section of file is controlling rotation. But i don't understand how does it work.

Back up that config file, create a copy, and play with the variables, imo. It looks like it's controlling which axes it's permitted to rotate on.

Change the x and y direction to 0, z to 1 and make sure your stl file is oriented / rotated like on the pic... you owe me a beer

Edit: rather like this, the earlier is for for the 3sheep folk...lol

Also thank you Zero.
I did as you said and I succeeded.
For convenience, I made a version for the lower and upper jaws(I suppose there is no other way)

Speak of the devil, I just designed us an in-house vertex-style cup because the stock vertex cup is, frankly, a pretty awful design with no optimization for printing.
artic1.JPG

The tabs are delicate and don't retain the ball well, so I split the socket so it can open up slightly then close to retain the ball under tension. The ball clicks in firmly and holds gently in whatever orientation you place it in before gluing. Also gave it a flat base and thicker sidewalls so it prints properly without supports. I also added our lab's logo to the upper surface, but I've blacked it out here.
Overall our techs are extremely positive about it, and we're going to dump the original Vertex interface shortly in favour of this for everything except weird cases that need the Vertex's slightly bigger range of motion.

And no, I can't share it here, sorry Dontknow
