Any Ideas on Ingot Selection??

Patient presented to the doctor with old, black crowns on her canine to central. We did a diagnostic wax up for her temps which she loves but now wants to address the issue of colour of the rest of them. They're low value around C2-C3. she's decided she wants the get the 15-25 done with the 3 crowns and the remainders in veneers. she wants the shade around A1-A2....So i can block out the crowns with MO - HO if necessary. im thinking i might try some bleach HT ingots for the veneers.
How would you attack it?

i might press MO coping in A-2 and do a full ceramic build

HO ingot, sprinkle core to desired shade then build . Really always depends on how much facial room you have to play with . Ive pressed dark preps before with plenty of facial room (about 2mm) and used Lt ingots that looked great in the mouth ..... ingot choice has ALOT to do with space given to work with . those are tough cases to handle but they are a fun challenge . knock it out of the park labwa .

Dark stump. Only choices are MO or HO. I that with enough room an LT will mask much but it's a bit hit and miss.

And bleach ht for the veneers? Stained to correct shade With facial layering?

What the?? Bleach HT?? that's looks like a 4R1.5 to me. Layer MO or cutback facial use LT A3.5 as a canvas for stain and layering.. my 2 cents

read it again. she wants A1 for final shade. she is around c3 on the initial shade for the veneers.

MO 0 and stain the coping with the universal stains to suit!

Yep, MO would probably be the safest although LT might do the trick too.

MO1 coping for everything, then build for the veneers. MO0 value is too high for the veneers is my opinion since you wont have much space even if you stain

I think M0 will be too opaque for the veneers. the dentist wants minimum prep.

Doomed case then. Convince the doc to do an aggressive prep or your both going to have yourself a failed case on your hands....and a pissed patient.

I love this forum. So many good ideas come out of it. I might get the patient back after preparation and do try ins with the centrals with a rough build up on top of a couple of different ingots. the dentist knows its going to be a challenge so im sure he will be up for it.
