I see your problem. the sirona software can only handle simple restorations (basic crown designs) in our version we don't have to define margins. We use the inlab "Cam" only software to do all this. We use our Weiland Select for all the advanced milling ;)
Hi if you have sirona inlab 15+ or higher it has the STL import feature to design and mill STL file from any dental cad software that outputs STL. We have original MCXL's milling 3shape STL emax crowns all day here at the lab.
Do you have a dedicated SQL server for the database for all the stations to link up to and share case information ? We have been wanting to consolidate to one database.

i wanted to see if an "ios" scan can be marked and then ditched with no removable dies so the ceramist can see where the margins are on the printed solid. if that make any sense lol
Hi we print all our implant cases in house, and when we get cases not clicking in or loose we calibrate the 3D printer and reprint the 3D model in question. 3D printing we've learned is super touchy and if they don't get calibrated often fit get whacky really fast. theres my 2cents hope this...
Create a sirona connect account as well. like the other tech said you will need the inlab software and dongle to download them locally. not up to date about the dr exporting stls. we have the full blown dongle that has all the export features. here is the link to create the sirona account that...
