We prefer a toaster oven. The problem we had with lamps is the heat varied depending on so many variables, distance from the units, ambient temp of the room, which can change seasonally, age of the bulb, etc. Also, if you put the units too close, you can heat them too quickly. Whatever...
Does anyone scan large articulators in their Medit Blu scanners? I know they have an articulator plate, but not sure what articulators that works with.
Does anyone manufacturer components for the Astra EV platform? Specifically titanium posts? NT trading announced, but I haven't found anyone that has them yet.
We've done a number of cubex bridges. We've had 3 break now. Connectors are at least 13mm. We're looking at everything, making sure we're not doing anything incorrect, etc.
Anyone have trouble with breakage? If we grind on the sintered zirconia, do we need to do the "regeneration" firing...
Not to be argumentative, but the sagemax is a completely different animal. It's the original type high strength zirconia. The Cubex is the lower strength/high translucency zirconia. When you paint the blocking agent on, you don't get white, you do get a decent incisal coloration.
Just can't...
We've been just using the SO on the incisal for everything, which if I understand right is more of a blocking agent than an incisal shade. Does sagemax have a higher translucent material? What liquid system are you using with it?
We're having issues with one of our docs using the cubex2. Darker shades only, such as D3, C3, etc. They match the shade guide perfectly, and he admits that as well, but they're too bright in the mouth.
GR, thanks for the reply. I'm running the calibration check on the oven right now, will purge next as well. This is a bad pic, but this is not close to what we were getting.
