    Valplast Full Denture?

Pretty sure post-it is the name of a 3M product. Theyre probably self-adhesive note pads or something

    Valplast Full Denture?

The only time i would do a valplast full denture is if the patient has zero tolerance to monomer. That is all. Otherwise theyre as good as cowpoo

What brand of acryl you like ?

Im upside down in australia - i use heraeus kulzer paladon 65 with a dentsply success injection unit. Fit, colour, strength is all perfect. I also use palaXpress self cure. Colour is very stable compared to vertex self cure. Colour is also the same as heat cure! Thats my two cents anyhow...

    Bonding attachments into Valplast

Good luck to the dentist. Might have to cut mechanical retention into the denture and use either self cure in the mouth or composite resin in the mouth Nothing really chemically bonds to valplast as far as i know Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk

    Denture Acrylic

I use paladon65 from kulzer in a dentsply success system. Works like a charm but you have to get the mixture correct Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk

    Loose full upper denture

A "loose" denture - upper or lower could be from aaaaanything from occlusion to impression to bite to ovd, etc. It is up to the clinician to figure out what the problem is. One thing that comes to mind is the periphery of the coronal-maxillary area - most of the time you will find that gap close...

    maxillary tori

Implants and some sort of attachments. If they need a graft, bone can be taken out from the torus i dont think a full upper denture will work because there wont be enough soft tissue compression. Soft lining JUST over the torus miight help but it still needs to be blocked out sightly...

Denture tooth repair? how long should I guarantee them?

Dentures break for a reason whether it be due to a clinical fault or a technical fault. IMO repairs should not be guaranteed but on the same token, i like to keep my clients. If a repair that i have done breaks again, i will charge for it regardless of fault. It is the responsibility of the...

    Best baseplate wax

Not the biggest fan of processed bases or light cure bases (unless you need to take a wash impression) - however I use Metrowax. There are a few different formulas but being in a warmer part of the world, we use the formula for tropical weather. I buy in a 20kg box (44lbs?) but you can buy in...

    problems with suckdown retainers

Actually, this reminds me. We have a problem with suckdown retainers too. We are currently using the new Erkodent Erkopress 300 and sometimes we are getting bubbles in the material and sometimes we find that it doesn't form properly. Any ideas? Oh yeah.. I'm in Australia so it's bloody hot...

Model Duplication Using Vacuum Form Material

I normally put the hydrocolloid in the microwave for 3 minutes on about 3/4 power then check if all the material has melted. if not, then it goes back in for another 2 minutes on 3/4 power but after i give the material a stir for about 10-30 seconds just my 2 cents.. :p
