it looks nice, but will it blend ?

love to see some pricing, some tooling or some of the other things that are typically demonstrated with such a machine; show me how long it takes to machine. to design. to scan, if it does that. what are its files like (point cloud density). how versatile and adjustable is its CAM software. how long (and under what conditions) do they warranty their product.

it looks nice

but show me the money.

Bruno D'Innocenzo from Argen/Dentrex sells these in the US. Anyone have any experience with these? I saw an UNO4x floating around a few months back but have no idea about this company

i have a query which cad/cam system is best if we have to choose out of amaangirrbach and zirkon zahn !!! i am bit confused ??? is any other system better than these on the basis of turnover and being cost effective side by side being future safe!

Both of them are not open systems . You are stuck with their expensive materials . There are many alternatives to them . If you search a bit here , there are many threads of milling machines and scanners . Personally , I would never buy a closed system .

but zirkon zahn is a open system i have searched everywhere , even in their official site its written their....anyone is using zirkonzahn , so that i can know the feedback i personally found this system better as in being 5+1 and the scanner is also pretty better as well , waiting for seniors response here .....

Zirkonzahn an open system ? I think you have it all wrong in your mind . It is not an open system . The discs it is using are not 98.5 mm as all the open systems use . It is 95 mm with different shape . Before I bought my milling machine , I went to ZZ factory . Trust me it is not open . The scanner is really good . As for the milling unit , I never understood why does it have 5 laboratory handpieces (if you want 5 you will have to pay the 2 of them extra , 1.5 k each for shcick motors ) , and not 1 spindle like everyone else has . Anyway , if you want to pay 250 euros for each disc , while you can buy a zirc disc for an open system at 100-120 euros , be my guest . I am not talking about some chinese discs there are out there for ZZ , because I would never use them .

Also do you know they charge every little thing their CAD software does , like mirroring or full contour extra ? Their scanner if you buy it with all the modules there is is about 28.000 euros . While all other top exocad scanners ( exocad is the software ZZ is using ) are at 20.000 euros .

thanks in advance ! now i m thinking again , well what shall i go for if u have been at my place ?what system u r having in ur lab ?

I am having a Dental Wings 5 series scanner and a Yenadent D 40 milling machine . I WAS in your place ! First of all you must define what you want to do with the system . Do you want to scan only and outsource your production , do you want to do everything inhouse ? Mill zirc and soft materials or also mill metal ? And lastly , how much are you willing to spend ? Don't forget that it is not only the cost for the machine and the scanner , it is also the cost for CAM software , sintering oven , starter kit for tools , possibly a new compressor . So I think first you will have to decide what you want to do with the system you are buying , and how much you are willing to spend . Where are you located ?

i m located in new delhi india , basically i will be working with zirconia copings , full contoured zirconia , metal copings and implant abutments too as not much frequent here but yes i wanna start up with , regarding expenses i m open for a nice setup which does not gives me pain for coming 5 years and yes it should be a open system with future safe methods , i had been thinking about yenadent but origin seems more impressive as in whole , dont know about cost for both of them yet....

Origin machines are made by Yenadent . I think that Yenadent's machines are the most value for money right now . I am sure there are better machines out there , but for the money you pay , you are getting a really nice setup which can mill everything . And the result is very good . Check this out . All the frameworks and the abutments are made with my machine in our laboratory .

The Datron D5 might be a good fit for you as well (assuming you'll increase your production of implant parts when you start machining them in house). I can get you in touch with our German counterparts at Datron AG if you're interested. Just shoot me a PM with an email address or other contact info and I'll forward it to them for you!

thanks mr.greeny can i have ur email id please

i think the origin is not all that. bought the 400 about 6 months ago for 39000(today its 44000) i would sell it today for 34000! just not that impresed. i like the dwx 50 its been outstanding and less hands on!
