I'd like to know how to charge dentist for conversion fee.
Do I charge for Temporary denture, Surgical guide and then Labor for conversion?
Or do you just charge set fee?
Thank you for your help.

You need to charge for the temp denture, surgical guide all separate and then your time for the conversion.

I know people that charge $1000 for the conversion time plus a guarantee for the case.

Who pays for the temporary abutments?
Doing 4 and 6 can add up.
I would say a minimum of $xxxx amount, unless it runs over time and you
have to sit around to wait for them to find the alternative abutments, etc.
And costs separate for additional temp abutments/screws.
My 2 cents.

Charge as much as you can get and save it for your defense fund as it is illegal for an unlicensed person to practice direct treatment. If something goes way south with the patient, the lab is NOT covered by the Drs. malpractice insurance.

I get $1800/arch. That includes denture, clear surgical "guide" (duplicate denture) and my time. No one has scoffed yet, and I usually do 2-3 per week.

As far as the parts; it depends on the surgical practice, your rep, and the GP. More often than not, I find the surgeons are picking up the tab, but the GP does in some instances. Generally speaking, the parts add around $1000 to the case. I do keep a consignment of parts from a couple of the companies on hand. Its easier than having to order and return all the time.

In regards to time, the vast majority of my cases are in the 3-4 hour range, start to finish. If you are finding your cases are taking 5-6+ hours, there is room to streamline there, or the surgeon is on the slow side.

Charge 1.5 times the cost... give a parts list for them to order... they typically won't order them because they can't find the power button on the computer

Does anyone have a list of everything you bring to office to do the conversion?

Thats pretty damn slick Tom! I have not seen that guide/path!

Now I will bash it :) as that surgery was planed, with what looks like 4 in a straight line there is no where near the ap spread needed to cant as far back as this appliance goes :) Now if there are hidden implants on stock abutments under the molars than you are golden :)

Is this something proprietary.?

The first picture is not a real case but a demo.

I do have picture by picture of this being done on more than one patient.

The pictures included are of a upper and lower denture patient conversion start the finish in less than 3 hours

This technique does not need a technician with two satchels of tools and supplies to convert and this takes much less time to convert that the traditional way.

With One and Done the price of the techs help doing a conversion is unnecessary.
Yes the technique is patented.

I forgot to add there are 10 implants. 4 on the lower and 6 on the upper.
