Hello,

we are using Wieland zenostar light for copings and monolithic. Stains are Wieland stains and sintered in Wieland Fire cube at 1500 degrese as per recommendation from Wieland.

Now the problem is that all the copings and crowns come out very opaque. No translucency at all . My ceramist hate the product by now.

Any tips or advise you can share?

I fired it around 1540c with two hour hold

What's your rate of climb?

I've fired it from 1500 to 1585 and everywhere in between and never got the trans I wanted. The Wieland stains made them more opaque, plus it's way too concentrated. The shaded disks without pre-sinter stain weren't too bad for some shades but I prefer to shade before sintering.

We do all ours on the ivoclar s1, which has the weiland programs already made for zeno, and the usual one we use is a 2hr 55 program that goes to 1450c, maybe you are going to high???
We also pre stain and they look great (for zirconia) :)
