Im new to the value ingots, can anyone advice me on where and when to use. I understand that V3 is the brightest and V1 the least. Layer or full press??
Im sure theres been some trial and error? Would you share a break down of how you correlate to the vita 16?The value ingots are used in the majority of my post units we press/s/g.
Must be a regional thing. I see work from one office thats nearly all D-2, but the other trend around here is C-1.Come on you know every post tooth is either d2 or a2 in the real world
its a 3 point scale so there isnt much variation.. Bleaches, A1 B1 get the v3 .. middle shades A2,A3 B2 get the V2 and the V1 isnt gray.. so you can use it for c1 d2, a3 a3.5 .. but its not as gray as the tab... so I dont use it for c2 c3 d3 a4 But your staining all the color on it anyway so you can make it work..
According to this...Look for values to be renamed soon to MT (Medium Translucency). V1-3 will be renamed to what I listed above, and the line will be expanded with 4 more to start (most popular/highest sales).
Thats about what I figured; because they are the most popular ingots. Thats a problem. ive been a long time e.max user, but I have never received a questionnaire about likes/dislikes and how Im using the product. Part of the reason that certain ingots are being used more than others is that you have some ingots that arent working. You sell alot of A1. Not nearly as many A1 shades are being produced with them as your sales team might deduce. They are being used for A2 and A3, because of the well known low value issues. So now we will have access to LT A1, MT A1, HT A1, and the V1...V1=MTA1, V2=MTBL4, V3=MTBL3, New additions to start should be MTBL2, MTA2, MTA3, MTB1. These are chosen by marketing because they are the most popular shades sold.
The Value name will go away and only be labeled MT.
