No need to convert the STL...Cerec Cam accepts STLs as does Inlab. I have played around with it and my MCXL yielded some screw retained implant crowns that fit the tibase very accurately.
old tread but similar question .... would I be able to mill from a .stl on a cerec compact ? Inlab 15 would work I assume? I have old compact that hasn`t been dusted in years lol
INlab Cad works if you do construction of your *stl scans in Inlab Cad15. For monly milling cdt-converter is the only way, than milling in Inlab Vers 3.xx .
No, you need Inlab CAM. And if you're milling on Primemill, you need Inlab CAM 22. No otherway around this. I think with DS Core, the CAM will be in the cloud as a subscription service, which should also allow you to mill any design STL on a CEREC mill.
