100g ring cracked down both sides while pressing.twice in 100g ring once in 200g ring. Thinking a problem with pressing mechanism in furnace. Didn't change technique -angle +position of sprue - investment-bench set -burn out time etc as it's tried and tested. Any comments... no sign of cracks before placing in pressing furnace and once pressing cracking detection flashes up and both sides of ring have came away! Frustrated to say the least!!!

New investment/liquid? Did your pressing table move?

What press oven do you have?
Alox plungers? Maybe crud left on them?

Alox Plunger clean. Same investment. Same pressing table! Same same same but ring splitting at both sides

Reviewing your history, youve been having lots of issues...short margins, cracks, etc. Im betting you didnt maintain 10mm between the patterns and the side of the ring as well as between the units themselves.

That may be helpful, too. What press oven are you using? i.e. a mechanical plunger or a air driven plunger type.
