I have said this before and I will say it again..

see the part where it says it gives rats respiratory tumors and leukemia?

do you want to potentially give this to your patients??

it also says no classification.

in MANY other subsequent fields, Palladium is also listed as No Data. it is a non-reactive, inert, metal.

counter link: Palladium (Pd) - Chemical properties, Health and Environmental effects (Palladium is regarded as LOW Toxicity... Palladium Compounds should be regarded as highly toxic and as carcinogenic)

Palladium compounds are rarely in contact with humans. mostly the compounds exuded by contact with acetone, oxygen, dichloride, etc are easily dissolved burned or diffused.

the majority of the Palladium use in the world is in Electrical connection, so unless you're licking electrical sockets you really aren't exposed to palladium in this capacity of toxicity.

and if you are licking electrical sockets, the last thing you will be worried about is Cancer.

Disturbed has me really....well.....disturbed about Palladium now. I feel it is my duty to make sure it is a safe material for my patient's so I have been sucking on an ingot of Callisto CP+(25% Pd) from Ivolclar for the last hour. I will let you know when and if my condition begins to worsen.

I will bet you just about anything he has not read the entire paper. Let alone understand that it has nothing to do with dental alloys.
