Hello everyone,

I am now preparing to open a laboratory dentraire prosthesis in Tunisia. Demand in Tunisia is about to rise.
I worked a long time in a laboratory with 3 shape for the software and scanner (D710) and milling Roland DWX-50.
I decided now to open my own lab.
I would like some advise about the choices I made, the best profitability.
1st configuration:
  • 3D Scanner: BlueScan by Kreos
  • Milling: DWX-50
  • Software: exocad
  • Oven: Mihm Vogt HT
2nd configuration:
  • 3D Scanner: BlueScan by Kreos
  • Milling: VHF CAM 5
  • Software: exocad
  • Oven: Mihm Vogt HT
3rd configuration:
  • 3D Scanner: BlueScan by Kreos
  • Milling: DWX4
  • Software: exocad
  • Oven: Mihm Vogt HT
  • 3D Print: ASIAGA PRO
4th configuration:
  • 3D Scanner: 3shape D750
  • Milling: DWX4
  • Software: exocad
  • Oven: Mihm Vogt HT
  • 3D Print: ASIAGA PRO
which is the most profitable: MIHM VOGT VOGT MIHM HT or HT-S?

Thank you

The most important is that the seller are near...to kick ass when the troubles appear.
I have mihn vogt HT-S, but never used the "speed" sintering way, because crowns became ugly.
Good luck.

3shape

whatever oven you choose. you seem fixed on the mihm voght though.

i would not print with anything less than dp3500. bego has a new printer theyre trying to market but i have doubts about it. its a cheap enough entry point though.

I say swap out the DWX-50 in Config #1 and replace it with the new DWX-51D

Dammit! Now I have to scrap my Tunisian expansion plans....

Sorry to hear that. My friends from there say it's a beautiful place, esp. on the coast.

I'm a 3Shape user and have been for a while now...so it's hard for

me to suggest Exocad when I've never used it. That said, I do have

the software now and will be diving into it soon!

Serisouly,

Find a re-seller in your region and demonstrate ALL of your options. I feel

that in this industry, you're only as good as your support. The mill is going

to mill what you tell it to, but when it comes to something going down and

production stopping, how good of a response time are you going to get? It is

worth the extra expense to get your dental equipment from a reputable source

that has a proven track record with their support.

We are using Medit IdenticaBlue 2015 and Yenadent DC-40 milling, very happy with the setup. You can go cheaper on the machine buy going for D15, way better choice then DWX-50 at the moment.
