My comment was a bit tongue-in-cheek.. but whether the sky falls or not remains to be seen.. unless you can predict the future of the dollar...

Having said that, I can prove that I am NOT chicken little.. I will probably be moving back to the US next year from one of the most beautiful places in the world, with arguably the LOWEST tax rate, and I get over $600+ for a crown.. because I believe the US is still the greatest place on the earth, regardless of a bozo president.. and since I am still required to pay federal income tax, I feel entitled to that opinion.

I still think that with this president, hard work is being punished with a higher tax rate, because that is fact. Im not suggesting that Americans should not continue to work hard, but it seems the majority does not feel that way anymore..

I want to know what happened to the people who ' ask not what your country can do for you' but what they can DO for their country..

Their children now feel entitled to have that for which they have not earned. Although for that which they have been told since they have a Krebs cycle they should demand entitlement. these individuals may have learned this from teachers striking (demanding greater pay for less work and no accountability (a gov job)).. (yes I purposely chose the breakdown of glucose for cellular respiration),sort of defining these individuals as having the wit of a nit.

Yes and blaming the president for absolutely everything completely contradicts your last statement! People play a responsible part in their own lives. I'm not going to feel sorry for Denny's douchebag for stating he's going to add a 5% surcharge to everyone's bill to pay for insuring his employees when in the same article he states he's going to lower peoples hours in order not to pay, hmm let's see San Francisco has the same ordinance and small independent restaurants have been charging 2% and paying to insure their employees. So Denny douche is going to make a nice profit then not even have to pay. As well as tight wad Dr.s especially if their in big offices, I worked in Dr offices for 10 years and they've been doing this forever(before Obama) ANY excuse the tightwads are all over it, I saw Dr.s lose their greatest assets over taking insurance away or promising and not delivering just so they can buy that yearly winery membership. Then they were left with garbage just cause you graduate from a dental college does not make you a good business man. So excuse me if all I have for them is Sad violins. It doesn't matter what president you would have got you would still have gotten the same thing. Me, well I'm not worried about a excise tax. Bring it on I will survive fruitfully

The presidents job is upholding the constitution, preserving states rights, defending personal liberty. This president doesnt do his job.

Youre no martyr passing along an 'excise' tax to the end user.. or.. are you taking a pay cut?

I dont think I contradict myself at all.. The feds FORCING you to do something for your country defeats the point of a president ASKING you to do something for your country.

You make a perfect example when you say you know a Dr who lost his best assets by cutting benefits.. Businesses like this cannot stay competitive and others will be able to attract the best employees because they do offer them. This is why it is called a 'benefit' is it not?

The 'I hate everything' is cute and all but its exactly the kind of attack I would expect from a bay area lib, and it couldnt be further from the truth.. I love america, and the freedom of CHOICE you have.. What I dont understand is why people that want the european life dont go live there... Do you own a lab? If you do and must pay the excise tax are you planning to pass it through to your customer?

If a small lab has a gross 250k per year the excise tax is $5750. If you are running your lab so it makes only 10% profit to stay viable in and be able to stay up to date thats 25k per year. That $5750 that looked like a very small amount now is 23% of the labs profit. But thats not all because the lab must keep track and file the paperwork along with the check to the IRS and that costs more profit.

If the government adds mandated cost to services or products for the private sector it will cause slow business growth and inflation or causes less employment and deflation. If there is another outcome please list them.

Please tell me again about how you came to the conclusions that those passing through government mandated costs are greedy and need to be called vagina cleaner or its delivery mechanism.

I saw something really sad awhile ago. At around noon today i was out and there were people laying in sleeping bags in front of the Best Buy store. It looked like five or six homeless people waiting out there to get a deal on Friday. I would be embarrassed to be out there to buy a $100 tv or whatever the doorbuster was. I did tell the people at Walmart that if they wanted to strike tomorrow I support them because I won't be shopping that day anyway. The management was all over the store looking for signs of disgruntled employees.

Why didn't the Native Americans let the white folks know the turkey was to keep the dressing out of the fire and then to be discarded.
