Good job, What kind of product are you building...
I have the same waxer, i hate that it tuns off by itself...
Im waxing some uppers at the moment im duplicating it, if i like it ill post pics this evening of the before and after. Right now its duplicated and the stone is setting... I love the way it looks in stone after the waxup. But I also need a stone model to build some proper prep guides and matrix for the doctor without slicing through the wax with my exacto.

F/U immediate, doctor prefers smooth finish. Not as twisted as Johns...
It is nice when they come back with the happy face, quote "process and finish".
Have a great weekend everyone:)

I just click "go advanced" to reply then click paper clip. Brings you to upload page where you can use your phones gallery to upload or computer if you're using that.

This weekends change in plans. Case was mounted on mag articulator for lower partial denture. Came in with a bite and a new upper cast. Patient now wants immediate upper / lower partial. Changes doesn't like rabbit look. Move Anterior apically 3mm lingual 3mm. I HIP mounted new master cast & mounted lower on pin articulation. I also took old cast & mounted it on same articulator )nice thing about magnetic articulators).

I removed all the upper teeth except rt central and set teeth in a nice red wax. The stone tooth shows new teeth position in relation to old, Dr will be reducing the plate to accommodate changes.

Someone asked (in a PM) if there is a way to level a set up and what is the hole in the setup plate for.

Just another picture after wax up. Comparing to original cast from when it was for a lower partial.

Out of flask & back on articulator to check bite.

This also needed a surgical guide for how much bone to reduce. When the case was in flask (after boilout) I use an extra flask top and pour hydrocoloid in to duplicate how cast has been trimed and then wax up for a clear baseplate.

Received it May 29 DDS went on vacation until Jun 4th I needed a confirmation and the case went to Place Jun 10 (with a bit of a rush charge.Articulation set-up picture confirmation, reset lower partial for more evenness, & process.)

It looks really good. I'd love to see the patients before and after. And I like that plate on the pin, Im going to have to find something like that to fit our art's for the next time we have a large upper/lower case. I usually just build one arch ideally and follow through with the opposing arch. I would rather build the plane to the plate and then carve into maximum excursion/function after... Thanks for sharing...

Thanks Marcus I usually build the upper to the lower ridge crest posterior (this is just a trick for this kind of strange case, or for checking if something looks canted.). I have done this with clear plastic window pane 1/8"thick , this was from Ace Hardware 1/8"thick aluminum from the hobby area cut 3"x3" drill pressed #2 holes 1/4" & 3/8th" (dad & I made a bunch of these in 1975 & handed them out at an IL meeting when we did some tricks clinics.) I have since made one for my Stratus in both clear & aluminum 3" x 5".

Love what you denture guys do, fantastic work.

This was a case done last year I think, surgeon wanted a diagnostic to check the overall look then wanted it in pmma to rehabilitate the patient.
