HELP 3shape problem

I'm trying to design an abutment with an Itero digital scan.
the itero files imported fine, but when I select on the tooth on the model,
i get an error message that states that it cant find the implant coordinates.
the scan body on the model and the one created by 3shape do not merge before allowing
me to design.
how do I correct this problem?

need help fast...boss is fuming!!!

You have to use the correct scan body. Think of it as everyone has a house right. Those houses

have specific keys that open doors. You can't use one key on another house and open the door. That's

how libraries are set up. You have to use the scan bodies that are set up in that specific library.

the scanbody has already been scanned. 3shape won't let me design abutment.

that's not what i asked. what kind of scan body is it?

if youre still on 2014 zip it up and email it to me ( mistergodfrey at gmail.com ) tell me what the implant platform is, and i'll take a crack at it at least.

In the Dental Manger. Did you import the Itero order or make a new order and just import the scans?

Maybe try Import Itero Order, You will probably have to change a few things within the dental manager like they type of implant, and material. See if that works.

I think the problem like others have said is that you don't have the right scan body library. so it is not matching it for some reason, perhaps the Dentist scanned the wrong one in when they did the oral scan? or maybe you don't have the correct library for the scan body?

I found out that 3Shape dosen't have FDA approval for this process yet!
did a work around and got it done.
