I've recently gotten a trial version of Rhino and the Dental Shaper add on (you may have heard *** singing it's praises on this forum) and I would like to look at some files from different scanners and different types of cases. Please shoot me a PM and we can talk about how to get them sent. Also, my trial runs out in 6 days so time is limited. Thanks so much for your help.

dont be suprised if you cant open all the file types pat, i had a demo version but couldnt open cercon files for starters.

Luigi has frequent updates. You need the Aug. ?? rev. to open all the recent stuff.

The demo may start off as the base program with no updates.

In Rhino, we made nice Macros to do list of commands for one click of mouse.

Cut's off various layers of mesh for different scanner types, and "one-click" exporting.

I've just started investigating the various other ways which Rhino can be customized. It's pretty epic. From simple macros -> Rhino Script -> Python -> C++. Too bad I didnt get introduced to Rhino when I had more time to program and play.

I wonder what Precision Milling uses to convert origin cad files to STL? Hmmm..

Also, I set up a "yousendit" dropbox so people can upload files. This should allow for a little easier file transfer.

I doubt it. The ExoCAD (aka Origin and many others) encrypted file is not yet ready from CIMSystems. I think they are going to be a distributor for exocad soon, so ....
