So I am not happy with this machine. But maybe I am doing it wrong.

Emax CAD MTBlocks

DWX4W Tools, 2mm,1mm, .5mm

Drill comp in 3shape 2015 .65, .66

I was expecting SO MUCH MORE.

Marcus,

What you are reporting is an isolated case. Some labs have produced over 100 eMax crowns a week without any problems. I'm glad CAP took care of the set up and the machine is now working. Also, to confirm it is not a typo or you are using off brand tools, the dimensions are
2.5, 1.0, and 0.5 mm (not 2.0mm as you mentioned).
Finally, if it fits the model but not the patient mouth, it may be an issue with the scanner.

Yes, but these are fully digital Trios cases. It makes no sense to design, mill wax, and then press.
My workload is ridiculous and I need the help.
Hey that's what we do all day long, trios, itero or scanned models. When you 40+units a day it does, cheaper and you get more pressed for less $$. Wet milling is good for rush digital cases, same day turn around and chairside for the offices that take it on.

I agree you get more, much more, bang for your buck pressing. I could work 100 hrs a week and still not catch up. I haven't the time.

Mix it up cut and press for faster production sometimes.

I agree with Sevan... the machine can replace the labor intensive tasks that pressing require...It helps with the excess cases.

spacer, .01, .04

This machine cuts margins just as bad as the MCXL.

What am I doing wrong?

I even sent out a couple milled emax built from a trios scan and printed model.
They crown fit the die and model, but not the patients prep.

Any ideas?

I was expecting SO MUCH MORE.

1. It isn't the mill, it's the material. Not easy to cut and has prep limitations.

2. If it fits the die/model not sure what else you can do? Maybe scan was incorrect not not clean at time it was taken.
