Technical Support Specialist for Dental CAD/CAM
Dental Axess is head quartered in North Ryde providing digital dentistry solutions in Australia and New Zealand. We offer technical support to one of the largest dental CAD/CAM platforms including dental laboratories, practitioners and manufactures. As our customer base is expanding rapidly we are looking for a new position to provide technical support to customers contributing strongly to overall customer satisfaction. This position will be based in North Ryde however, will require onsite customer visits interstate and New Zealand.
Profile:
The applicant must have a positive approach and attitude and enjoy assisting customers in their daily applications of Dental CAD/CAM, finding solutions, develop infrastructure for the implementation of systems internally and externally, and thrive in a busy environment where multitasking is required.

Professional
- IT educational background
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft Windows
- Expert knowledge with networking and understanding and implementing client-server installations
- Database administration knowledge
- User level knowledge on CRM systems
- Technical consultancy experience
- Previous experience in 3Shape Dental System is advantageous
- Customer orientated approach
- Strong technical interest and understanding of IT, software and engineering issues
- Strong interest and understanding of dental CAD/CAM systems and processes
- Good communicator, with the ability to engage and listen
- Technical support on 3Shape hardware (dental 3D scanners) and software via online support, telephone, e-mail and on-site customer visits
- Integration and support of the digital dental workflow as developed by Dental Axess
- Support case management: logging, prioritization, trouble shooting, closing and follow up
- Install and train end users on 3Shape Dental System
- Contributing to Dental Axess IT infrastructure
