I think that the interface is the same , the upper part where you cement is different . I also like the gold one better

These dont look the same at all.. The margin base on the left has a collar around it, the other gold one has a lower margin.. Did you update your digital library too? is there an update?

That's why I prefer the gold one.

That thick margin is similar to those crappy synocta platforms which are the worst design ever!

Agreed, they look different. With the gold the chimney (cementable area) above the shoulder is shorter and slighter narrower, the area below the anti-rotation elements is also shorter.

The point here is that the one on the left is sandblasted for retention whereas the gold nitrate base would be removed if sandblasted.

Thus the retention grooves.

True, but I believe another question was raised. Since the design was somewhat changed would the implant library need to be updated to accommodate the new design.

DDG recently changed it's brand name to Target3D. All files and every component is updated. Just go to target3d.com in order to update your library

The one on the left is DESS. You can purchase an anodizer in the USA for $300USD and make it whatever color you need.

Either are DDG
the gold (anodized ) I have purchased on January .
The other on July.
Design and measurement are different.
