Im wondering if anyone is charging 3percent transaction fee to their customer for using credit card.

They do help with cash flow because i can run them at the beginning of the month. About 70 percent of my clients use credit card payment and the fees are becoming way too much.

Any thoughts?

Bake it into your pricing, and maybe offer an equivalent discount for cash/debit. Ask nicely for people to pay with debit or credit if they can. Extra fees feel antagonistic and discounts feel nice, even if the money involved is the same. 3% of a fairly large transaction is big enough to feel like what i'd call a ****-You Fee, it's very different from a corner store charging 25 cents more to use credit for purchases under $15, or whatever equivalent you normally see day-to-day.

We have a 20% discount on cash deals... the regular prices are adjusted accordingly of course. That helps staying over 95% cash based. Deal
