Dear,

We recently purchased a Roland DWX-50.
We are currently looking where to purchase our consumables.
Can you guys help me ?

Where to buy discs ? PMMA ? WAX ? ZIRC ?
Where to buy the Burs/drills ?
Wich Cam software ?

What are the things to look out for ?

The main purpose for our Roland DWX-50 is to mill temporary restorations and wax.

Thans in advance for your support !

BTW: We are located in Europe

anywhere that sells 98.5mm PMMA/Wax discs or pucks. most of the time those same places will sell burs. lust contact the vendor and ENSURE the shank sizes match your current tooling.

you want to buy PMMA that is dry mill compatible and burs with no more than 2 flutes.

Doesn't your reseller sell those items?

This is strange, who did you purchase from and what country are you in? Your dealer/distributor should be offering the DWX-50 with CAM software and Roland tools (others brands are available but at least a set of Roland tools to get you started).

As far as materials go you are free to purchase on the open market. The documentation that came with the DWX-50 will show specific puck and block sizes that are supported.
