Thats a bold and aggressive move, though to the best of my knowledge most docs have a deal with their implant companies, would'nt this strategy conflict or replicate those endevours or will you be marketing to a specific group of docs? Do you plan on giving deeper discounts than the implant ompanies themselves?

The implant companies want me to use their implants when I plan the cases. If I supply the implants, drills and keys, the dentist doesn't need to be into any one system and doesn't have to buy a whole inventory. It's a brillaint plan if i say so myself.

So would that make the surgeon more likely to take the case all the way to the end restorativly? If you are giving a quote on the lab/restorative work? What would the general dentists think of the oral surgeons doing the final restorative work...hmm....and do the oral surgeons you work with WANT to do restorative work?

Non NO! I give the quote to the surgeon to give to the restoring doctor. It goes with all the other paperwork and radiology reports we generate.

even if it's not a law, it's kind of the gentlemens' code

I suggues "team approach" where you can implement the implant and final restorative solution to both the GP and OS simultaneously

That is exactly what we do. I'm not interested in teaching a surgeon prosthetics and I respect the positions of each member.

I think that's a phenomenal idea. I Re-read my post. First off, apologies for the horrendous typos and terrible grammar. It must have been the lack of coffee. Secondly, upon a re-read I didn't mean to imply you would be at fault for a specialist or a general crossing their respective talent boundaries. In fact after a little reflection it's just the opposite! If you had a service which potentially integrated the whole system and a specialist abused that to take the whole thing to final restoration, it would be doubly on them. I think you idea is valuable from a business and treatment standpoint. Keep us updated.
