Hi to all

Please help and tell me a little about machining parameter that you use in your CAD/CAM and CNC machine.

I want buy a CNC machine for my CAD/CAM system but i need to use your experience about machining parameter? how much was maximum feed rate, spindle speed, step down, step over that you use? for what material?

what machine with what specification and power do you suggest ?

You can get a Roland for cheap for just wax or Zirconia, or if you have $100k and a spare 8'x8' room you can get a Haas OM-2a or B&D Dental mill and add hard material milling capability. You will need $20k for software to operate the mill (CAM) if you do not already own it.

Maybe Mark's buddy's at Glidewell will have a new mill?

Please help me and tell me about CNC machine. What CNC machine with what ability is good for CAD/CAM dental job? 5 axis or 3 axis? how many RMP and feed rate does it need?
Please let me to have a CNC machine that be able for machining Titanium , Zirconium ,PMMA, Ceramic, ....

Many 5 axis machining centers are 3 axis machining centers with the two additional axis being a bed mounted 2 axis trunion.

3axis wont cut it...you need 5

In the case of the om2a the additional 2 axis are an $8k option.
