Has anyone out there tried the new Bruxzir Shaded Pucks?? they come in all 16 vita shades. I am currently cutting out of Wieland shaded for FCZ and was curious about the shaded bruxzir's brand especially for my C and D shades. thanks for your input!

whats the problem with your c and d shades? they seem to be the harder to hit with most all of the systems?

If you're using the Wieland Zenostar and having trouble hitting your lower value / higher chroma shades I have a chart we put out using Empress Universal Stains and Glazes on Zenostar that makes it much easier. We actually changed which puck to use on several of them to help it out. Let me know and I can get the chart to you.

Agreed! But, we developed this firing according to the recommended parameters and it still made life easier. :)

The old Zenostar DVD I have specified firing at 1580 or 1600c? When ivoclar took over they specified 1450c. When I dropped my temp to 1530, then 1500 and then 1450c, I saw a lot more color and lower values within the materials. This is without me adding any pre sintered coloring.

Here is the chart I was writing about earlier. One is a scan of a document from marketing, the other is the same chart, but in a form that I think is a little more user friendly and shows the actual changes in puck recommendations.

Here is a quick pic of one out of the A2 puck. Give me a couple days for the darker shades.

I got a free samaple in the mail the other day. Tried the old stuff and sad to say it sucked. Haven't cut the new sample yet.
