Hi,

I keep getting mailshots from talladium that tell me how great it is and how biocompatible etc, etc.

I have used it in the past and whilst it was nice to work with it was quite expensive at the time (about 15yrs ago)

I just looked at the talladium website to see what was actually in it and after some heavy duty searching found that its got both nickel and beryllium in it, this surprised me as I'd assumed it would be Ni and Be free, I know beryllium is safe for the patient (assuming no grinding takes place intraorally) just not so nice for the technician using it.

It also stated that you can remelt it up to four times without adding new alloy which I also found surprising.

Anyone actually use this stuff and do you remelt your old buttons?
