Add Chuck Changer to Lathe??

I have a RedWing 26a Model lathe and I have a quick chuck changer as shown in the photo but my tech and I cannot figure out for the life of us how to change the sucker to make things much easier. Anyone have any thoughts??

I've always just bought the lathe with the quick chuck already on it. I can't tell you how many times I've repaired or replaced them but never tried to add the chuck to a lathe that was purchased as say, a polishing lathe. Looks like you are missing the other half of the clutch the part that clamps to the lathe which can also be purchased. The part you have then would screws to that.
