Thank u for your comment.
As our dental CAD/CAM market is too small compared with the U.S, we could barely see other CAD/CAM for clinics than CEREC until now.
Unfortunately, Glidewell's fastmill is never seen in my country so that I cannot make any comment on it.
Planscan and Planmill is a...
If you have customers who are already using CEREC system, then MCX5 will be the best choice. But if you're thinking about operating it with 3shape or exocad rather than inLab 15 or 16, please don't take it. It won't give you any privilege worth the investment.

Hello Orto.
I didn't mean to involve in this threads but I cannot just pass by as I have been in this type of issue quite long.
I am a dentist in South Korea, and I own my small lab in my clinic.
First thing you should decide is that you could hire a dental technician and make an in clinic lab...
Recently, I bought Sirona's Bluecam and Cerec MCXL premium.
As I own 2 Trios IOS already, I want to import Trios scan in Cerec 4.4 or Cerec premium.
Tech team in Sirona says it is impossible and if I wanted to do that then I should have bought inlab MCXL, not Cerec MCXL.
Will it be possible to...
Last year, I bought d2000 and it came with HP Z230 workstation pc.
The spec looked not so bad at that time, i7 4790, gtx960, 16gb ram, 1tb hdd.
However as the case went bigger, the more errors were occured while designing.
So I added more ram to it, and it worked much better but still unstable...
Carestream is gaining good reputations among users nowadays and I think if you are thinking of cost effective solution for intraoral scan then yes Carestream can be a good answer. And I think regarding daily small restoration cases like single crown or inlays, whatever u might choose as IOS, you...
I am not a professional CAD/CAM worker but from my experience, both of them were all user friendly, I cannot say one of them is superior than other.
However matching d2000 and exocad doesn't look to be a good idea.
3Shape doesn't sell d2000 without dental system, so if you want to use d2000 with...
Not a chance.
After I read your thread throughly, I found out that you had suggested posteriorly extended hybrid prosthesis or denture with 3 abutments. That is the best for this patient I think, in case the implants are proper sized and well placed. With this type of overdenture, your client...
Sorry for misunderstood, I should have read more carefully what u wrote.
So you're going to make upper denture on the basis of the new lower denture.
That's a good idea!
And I want to say that it is such a pity that you cannot do anything to change the decision to use bars.
Time will tell what...
OMG..
I swear that this case would go to hell.
I've seen several cases like this, in my clinic, because my clinic is specialized for the old patients.
First of all, your client shouldn't accept changing only one side of the dentures.
As you've mentioned, the upper arch looks very narrow as it...
How did you put those models as the articulator attached into your d2k?
My d2k instructor said if I put models with articulator, it will harm the camera.
So my DT detaches the articulator from the models before he put them in d2k.
Thank you so much for your advices.
I finally contacted local dealers for GC and Jensen and both dealers said they would give my DT a chance to try their staining systems.
From what I've heard, GC Lustre has gained good reputation among the users already, and Insync is about to be imported now...
Wow amazing work you've done!
Beautiful shape and colors!
Regarding Initial IQ, It seems like there is two types of Initial IQ, is this done with IQ press? or IQ layering?
I fully understood what you meant, but I already asked my DT to find a good system to color 3m FCZ about a week ago and after that, one day he was making a call to Ivoclar and said he might color FCZ with Empress stain kit very well. So I asked him whether he tried to search other options than...
That's exactly what I want to do. But my DT is only good at porcelain with Ivoclar system. So he tries to do everything including ZR coloring, with Ivoclar system. But as I know more from here, as for ZR, I dont think Ivoclar can be the best solution.
And Korean DT community doesnt look like...
Thanks for your words.
The company told me they would do their best to support us. And also they gave me a nice deal for mill machine and sinter furnace. So I chose to go with that company.
I bought it from 3m official reseller and they gave me 10k$ deposit for material as a discount for dwx 50.
I contacted them again today and they said there will be a training session for my DT regarding coloring very soon.
Maybe it'd do some help.
