    Asxys or CAP

Look no further than CAP. Support is second to none, we have a number of Rolands from them and have had The DWX 51D for a month now, it is great

Lab Software... The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Not sure which version of Magic Touch you are using... we handle 500 plus cases a day using CPM, it integrates seamlessly with Purolator and we use barcodes for everything. The shipping manager that is part of the program handles all of our shipments , local as well as courier.

    Printed Cerec Models

If you have model builder and all scans in 3-Shape you can accept the file and make your model. That can be sent to any centre that prints models...

Shenpez Sintra, the good, the bad & hopefully not ugly

We have 3 Sintra furnaces running every day. They have been trouble free for the last 3 years. I thought about the Vogt and went with these, glad I did.

    billing software?

I can't tell you anything about Evident. I can tell you that Magic Touch is awesome. The support is outstanding. The product itself is continually being updated and having functionality added. If you are a 3-Shape user you should look at how it integrates with Capzilla from CAP. It will blow...

    Buying a scanner through Ivoclar

We switched to CAP for 3-Shape support and it has been outstanding. I don't believe there is another 3-Shape dealer offering the same level of support in North America. Just my humble opinion. We have a fairly complex setup and they are always up to the task....

    iTero to 3Shape

I doubt their support will be anywhere near as good as CAP. The support we receive from them is outstanding

Looking for a milling machine please help

If all you want to mill is Zirconia, wax and PMMA look no further than the DWX 50. We have 4 of them and they run all day and are rock solid. Of all the mills we have (8 in total) they are the easiest to use and maintain. The fact that they seem lightweight was a concern to me when we got our...

A nice Digital USB Microscope that you recommned?

+1 for Dino-lite. We have been using one for years. There are a lot of models to choose from.

    Carestream and 3Shape

Yes we have...you need the All Files added to model builder :( Expensive...and a $1400 a year annual fee Ouch! The data seems ok but as 2thm8kr has pointed out, tissue management and prep are the magic words...does not matter how good the scanner, if you cannot see the margin neither can we..

    3DSystem or EnvisionTec? Or Objet?!?

The 3510 is a little more reliable than the older 3500. Having said that in any given week there is one or more of the 3 printers needing attention. the feed mechanism for the material on the 3510 is a lot better, that is one of the biggest problems on the older machines. The kind of issues we...

    3DSystem or EnvisionTec? Or Objet?!?

Don't forget to factor in the maintenance cost of the printer. A 3D systems printer will cost in the region of 16k for a maintenance contract after the first year. Obviously this depends on your geographic region etc. The cost of the material is a big expense for any printer. 3D systems is more...

    3DSystem or EnvisionTec? Or Objet?!?

We could never get the 260V to be accurate enough for C+B. We do ortho models on ours, we have a 500V as well. We get the accuracy for the models on the MP3510, but the reliability of the 3 3D systems printers we have is brutal.

What would you be printing? Models or parts?

    Where to buy Trios?

I would deal with CAP. Their support with 3-Shape is outstanding. They have put allot of time into Trios as well. Dr's need alot of hand holding with the Trios in the first while. Training is key... as well as tissue managment etc..

    Invisalign /Trios

They know that Invisalign is still one of the strongest selling points for Itero. They give that up to Trios and then it is only price. Trios is so much easier and practical to use in the real world. I have a doc who has both. He has not used his Itero since.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Invisalign /Trios

I was told by the local rep that they had made a decision not to. The reason given was that they had evaluated the scan data and that it is not good enough... go figure?
