Looks like fun!

Yes, SUM3d also have implant geometery replacement feature.

We created our own library and individual milling operations for each type/size implant.

Same/same...

It may be never that CrCo will be accepted in the USA?

Does it come with DentalShaper?

It can...
There are many levels of sum3d to buy.
DentalShaper is totally seperate program that is an add-on to Rhino CAD.
You can do the implant replace in Rhino.

Hi !

If you don't have polymer , you can use WAX , good wax like this one , it's perfect !

Good luck ! ;)
Brilliant...!

I love the idea of the small lab taking full control of its work..

Help.. I have been using 3Shape for about 18 months now and to be fair it has been spot on for us, in two weeks we will have a imes 450i with loader being installed. So....I thought it best to have Exocad installed also, to really give us the flexibility the lab needs to run the mill....this was installed last week but I haven't even turned it on...(been so busy) shame shame!

My question is Mouisouir, how can I mill my own connection's, where can I get hold of an open dme file along with scan bodies to actually mill the connection, non-engaged connection and abutment level.....?
Any advice..........Cheers bro

Have you ever tried polishing the interface with a brass bristle brush?

I tried it on a cast ucla and it worked quite well.

just thoughts...but don't you think that the "texture" on the casting which already has several microns and that added to the polishing, would lead to a NOT GOOD ENOUGH tolerance ? Although I recognize the creativity of French Cadman, I have doubts about the compliancy of the results. What do you think ?

I think he's technique is on par with UCLAs...that goes through similar steps of fabrication...even if the interface is machined to specs...it definitely will loose some tolerance through devesting and subsequent polishing...
@Frenchy: you can avoid sandblasting if you put your castings in stripping acid...;)
