I was filming one of our in house lab tech's (Professor Bates) repairing a denture - and - of course - a premolar went flying.....I thought it was funny - b/c we've all spent many hours looking for things and find them weeks/months later...

We lost a PFM today, and labor of four people looking for the damn thing for an hour!

AHHHH!!!

It was actually a sub-lab that rents lab space from me, but MY employees were involved for some reason?

We've all been there.

I had a Gold crown I could see, but could not get to for Eight years!

Had to take apart steel bench to get it. Almost was not worth it.

*** - 8 years! Wow. What an investment - gold has definitely increased in price over 8 years. I should think of hiding gold around the house!

I think I've been around long enough to be considered as one of the original members of this club. If only NASA could locate this hole in space and time! Anyway whilst you're all looking if anyone finds a UL1 veneer that's just had glaze paste applied it's mine lost it about 3 years ago so will probably have dried out by now. Just how far can the buggers go?

Years ago I had a coping fly out of my hand.Looked everywhere and eventually found it on top of the fluorescent light hanging from the ceiling.

Dropped an implant screw on the floor, or at least I thought I did. Couldnt find it, replaced it and moved on. A couple of weeks later something was in my shoe that I could feel on the bottom of my foot. Took my shoe off, guess what. I found my screw

Years... nay decades ago, my dad just went to work in a lab on the second floor. He was high shining a partial frame on the stand up buffing machine when it went sailing out a window and landed on the roof of the building next door. Not wanting to start over he went over to the builing and got on the roof and found his partial... and a couple of dozen other frames and dentures. Apparently, everybody else just reported theirs missing... it was Memphis's largest lab at that time. Gotta love techs who have no vested interest... or at least believe they don't.

hell, i lost a Straumann Red stripe lab analog in the fly of my jeans.

in the fly. as in tucked under the flap of jean that goes over the zipper.

it was there for a solid 4 hours, and i nearly ordered another one.

got my floor nice and clean though!
