Spring cantilever bridge design

I have to make a spring cantilever bridge. The last one I made was probably 20 years ago and I no longer have access to the book with the proper design, ie bar width thickness, do you ease the soft tissue under the bar slightly ?.
It is going from the 23 abutment to the 21 pontic.

Anyone help appreciated.

yes, ease the tissue but follow the contours of the palate. Thickness depends on the alloy that you are using. Most bars are probably too thick and don't have any "spring"
